Men’s Breakfast The next Men's Breakfast will be held on Saturday, March 9th beginning at 9am. Each man should bring his favorite box of cereal to share with everyone, as we will be doing a "cereal bar" for our meal (milk will be provided). This will all take place in the church basement.
Two Week Challenge One of the organizations that East Main supports is ActiveWater. ActiveWater's mission is to provide safe, sustainable drinking water to those who do not have such a luxury. ActiveWater is challenging everyone to only drink tap water for 2 weeks (March 8th-22nd) and give the money that you would have normally spent on coffee, soda, milk, and other drinks towards the mission of ActiveWater. Are you up for the challenge? See Harold Harrington or Micah Balch for further details or questions.
Open House at Church House Todd, Kara, and Asher Tipton would like to invite you all to an open house on Sunday, March 3rd from 3pm-5pm. If you are unaware, the Tipton's have moved into the house that the church owns next door to our main parking lot. They, along with many others, have been working hard to spruce up the house so that it will be more presentable, livable, and conducive to doing ministry work here in the neighborhood. Come visit them on March 3rd and see the work that has been done, as well as the ministry plans they have for this community! Creation Museum Trip The 20th Street Church of Christ in Battle Creek is coordinating a trip to visit the Creation Museum in Cincinnati, Ohio. They are hoping that you might consider joining them for this exciting trip. The charter bus will leave from Battle Creek at 4pm on Friday, March 15th, and would be back to Battle Creek by 9pm on Saturday, March 16th. You can find many more details concerning pricing for the bus, hotel, and museum on the bulletin board in the back of the auditorium. There is a sign up sheet on the same bulletin board for those who are interested. Deadline to sign up is Wednesday, February 27th.
Honduras The dates for the Honduras trip this year are June 12-22. If anyone is interested in going, please talk with Steve Soper.
